"Calling on my Lowcountry heritage and the very "Local" direction that Mercantile & Mash's menu puts forth, I decided to take my abstract techniques to the shoreline with an "oyster" theme. I created two paintings with my take on two iconic local oyster favorites. This one, "Bulls Bay Selects", couples the extreme textural qualities of my abstract paintings with an impressionistic look at a string of oysters in ice blue water."
