Painted as part of the "Shell Shocked" series. This series made its debut at the show opening on March 4th, 2016.

"Factory Creek is between Beaufort, SC and the neighboring Lady's Island, running alongside the Beaufort River. The LP Maggioni and Sons oyster cannery, or factory, as the locals referred to it, is where my stepfather worked. While there, Gilbert Maggioni, a pioneer in intricate bird sculpting techniques, taught my stepfather the art. He also taught Grainger McKoy the same art."
